Watching the goal and building momentum
Focus on locking eyes with the goal, fine-tune your aim, and build the momentum.
FOCUS POINTS:
- Walk in, build up and get momentum straight through to the goal line
- Practice by going a little bit quicker making sure you’re keeping the ball still and then look down at the ball before you kick
- You have to watch the top point of the ball when you are about to kick and then make connection on the bottom point to make the ball spin
- Remember: Stare at the goal, build momentum and then watch the ball
