This is about changing positions when running towards goal, having the ball ready and keeping the ball in the same position ready for you to kick towards goal.
FOCUS POINTS:
- Keep the ball in position when on the run. Keep ball in 2 hands. Be ready to kick - hold the ball out on kicking leg side.
- Typically, players pull the ball as they go to kick inside and miss the target. You have to work against that urge to drop it inside and make sure you keep it outside - on your kicking leg.
- Players feel pressure when they are due to kick which can cause them to look up. You have to be sure to kick the ball & keep going straight, running towards the goal even after you kick.
