Sherrin donated nearly $41,000 to six different charities over 2023. Starting with ANZAC Round, Sherrin has been working closely with the RSL for many years and promises 15% of each ANZAC game ball to the RSL, which this year contributed $5,452.

Sherrin was proud to change its name for the first time in history, replacing the iconic Sherrin to Yiloga (pronounced Yi-LO-A) which is the Tiwi word for football. On top of that, proceeds of the game ball were donated to the Michael Long Foundation, which accumulated to $8235. The takedown range accumulated $19,343 that was donated to Cape York House.

Sherrin has also supported BCNA for many years and as this year’s Pink Lady Match between Melbourne and Hawthorn celebrated BCNA’s 25-year anniversary, as special anniversary ball was created, and 5% of each BCNA branded product is donated back to BCNA, with that amount being $2,552 in 2023.

Sherrin also changed its name for the first time for AFLW Indigenous Rounds, with ‘Tidna Parntu’ being printed on the ball, which is football in Kaurna language, the language of artist Gabriel Stengle. $2,408 was donated to The GO Foundation from sales of the AFLW Indigenous game ball.

For the first time ever, the AFLW had a unique pride game ball. Sherrin donated $2,886 to Pride in Sport from sales of the game ball.
