Scott Pendlebury Set for Record-Breaking Game 433

For the first time in 10 years, the AFL’s games record is set to be broken, as Collingwood champion Scott Pendlebury lines up for the 433rd time this Saturday against Walitj Marawar (West Coast) at the MCG.

Pendlebury has already cemented himself as a legend of the game, having won two Premierships, one Norm Smith Medal, five Collingwood Best & Fairests, four ANZAC Day Medals, and is a six-time All-Australian. Pendlebury also captained the Pies from 2014-2022 across 206 matches which is a club record.

In Round 17 of 2023 Pendlebury broke the all-time disposals record, and in 2024 he became the first player to dispose of the Sherrin 10,000 times. Pendlebury is the sixth player in VFL/AFL history to play at least 400 games, in a career that has spanned 21 seasons.

Sherrin is proud to have been a part of Scott’s journey from his first kick and first goal in 2006, all the way through to his record-breaking 433rd game this weekend.

As part of the celebration, special edition Scott Pendlebury Sherrin footballs are available in size 5 leather and size 3 PVC material from the Collingwood shop.

From everyone at Sherrin, congratulations Scott on your incredible achievement.
