Celebrating the Cultural Heritage Series
Sherrin is joining the AFL and all 18 clubs to celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Australian Football with the Cultural Heritage Series set to take place across the 2026 AFL and AFLW seasons.
As part of the Cultural Heritage Series, Sherrin has created a unique leather football which includes the design created by Isaac Quaynor, Mua Laloifi, Jayden Nguyen and Akec Makur Chuot.
Isaac’s design is inspired by the Kente cloth, a traditional Ghanaian fabric. Mua’s drawing is based on the Samoan tattoo which her father has. Jayden’s pattern, the flows and curves, is based on both the rice fields and the lion dance of Vietnam. Akec’s strong, bold lines are a reflection of the South Sudanese flag.
The Cultural Heritage Series will be celebrated across 18 matches through rounds 1-23 of the AFL season, with further games to be confirmed for the AFLW season.
This unique, limited-edition Cultural Heritage Series Sherrin is available for preorder on the Sherrin website.
