Standard Delivery

The 2026 Sir Doug Nicholls Game Ball is designed by Bayley Mifsud (Merindah-Gunya), a proud Peek and Kirrae Whurrong woman from Warrnambool. Made from premium Australian leather and featuring on the field across the round, this design encompasses what football means to community.  

This artwork celebrates the deep connection between football, family, and community. From running around the boundary line, hearing the siren, and being surrounded by people who felt like family at local footy. Footy has always been a meeting place.  

The central meeting places represent football clubs across Country, with surrounding people symbols showing the players, supporters, and the kids growing up on the sidelines.  

Official Game Ball size and hand crafted in Australia. Proceeds from this Sherrin will be donated to the AFL's First Nations Impact Fund.
