Sherrin extends with the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL)

Sherrin is delighted to announce the partnership extension with the Southern Football Netball League on a multi-year deal. Sherrin has had a long-standing partnership with the SFNL and this deal will continue the strong partnership between one of the strongest leagues in Victoria and Sherrin.

The partnership will see Sherrin continue to be the exclusive football partner of the four senior Men’s divisions, as well as the U19’s, Thirds and Women’s competitions.

Sherrin Sales Director Nathan Collins said “Sherrin are thrilled to be extending the partnership with the SFNL, as it is an important and long-standing partner. The SFNL is a significant and sizeable Community League and we’re excited to continue working with the league on initiatives over the next few years.”

SFNL CEO Lee Hartman added “It is great that Southern have extended their partnership with Sherrin, an iconic football brand that have supplied footballs for well over 100 years. As we continue to grow our league it is important that we continue to use equipment that is used in the professional game”.

Southern FNL players Ellen Block and Blake Meadows from the Murrumbeena FNC were taken on a tour of the Sherrin football manufacturing process in their new Keysborough facility.

There they witnessed the evolution from large panels of uncut leather pass through many critical steps, all by hand of dedicated Sherrin staff to produce the footballs that all Southern FNL players will kick in 2024.
